I upgraded to WordPress 2.5 tonight and also found a new theme that I like better than my dull old one (hat tip to BAAG and Alex for the theme). I’ll be working out the kinks with the word wrapping and updating some tags (I was foolish and used spaces instead of commas, so need to update those posts to fix the tag cloud). Hopefully, in the next couple of days, I’ll get things updated and hopefully the site will look and work better. Then I’ll hopefully continue working through my blog article backlog. Thanks for your patience while I remodel.

  1. Hey it looks great! I need to do a wordpress upgrade too… I’ve been kindof dreading it. πŸ™‚ Was it very difficult? Any problems or did it go smoothly? Did you keep any of your plugins or redo the whole site?

  2. I don’t have too many plugins and all but one of them worked without any modifications. Overall, the upgrade wasn’t any different than any others for me. As you may have read, the admin interface has changed a lot, so you can expect a little learning curve there, but it isn’t that hard either. I know you use a few more plugins than I do and your plugins do some more complex stuff, so you might have a few more things to test first.

Heh. It is a way of saying i don’t like change. Not that i don’t like it. πŸ™‚
